Mrs. Gladys (Casper) Foote, age 99, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 Southgate Nursing and Rehab Center in Metropolis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Cathey officiating. Burial will follow in Waltersburg Church Cemetery in Pope County, IL.Mrs. Foote was a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church.Gladys is survived by her nephew, Mike Casper and wife Georgia of Metropolis; niece, Marietta Broadway and husband Bruce of Golconda; several great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William "Bill" and Addie (Flannery) Casper; husband, Irving Joseph Foote; son, Charles Irving Foote; brothers, Elmer, Earl, and Clarence Casper.Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m. at the Miller Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be given to the Immanuel Baptist Church 1119 Market Street Metropolis, IL 62960.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
