Mrs. Georgia Lorene Farris, 69, of Metropolis, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 10, 2016.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Georgia is survived by her husband Robert Farris; one daughter, LeAnn McDuffee; one sister, Glenda Troutman; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; two granddaughters, Amanda Henley and husband Bryan and Marcy Hileman; two great grandchildren, Lucas Henley and London Henley; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, George T. and Vernita L.
