George Wayne Marvel, age 76 of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 12:15 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Metropolis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

No services are planned at this time.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Kay Pattengale; son, Gary Marvel; granddaughter, Ashley Pattengale; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Hazel (Poynter) Marvel; wife, Marilyn Marvel.
