Mr. Gary R. Williams, age 54, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Gary was a member of the Highway 45 Church of Christ and worked at Williams Lawn and Garden from 1981 until his passing.Gary is survived by his parents, Eddie and Virginia (Duckworth) Williams if Metropolis; sister, Karen Eleam of Metropolis; 1 nephew, William Robert Eleam of Metropolis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Williams.Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.comAikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
