Freddie Lee Laird, age 75 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis with Rev. Mike Hardison officiating.

Freddie was a retired autobody repair man.

Freddie is survived by his daughter, Raquel Reddick and husband Travis of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Carlee Laird of Murray, KY, Alexandra Wilke, Damon Reddick, and Shelbee Reddick all of Benton, KY; great grandchildren, Kereyana Neal, Kalyssa Neal, and Kytahna Neal; brother, Donald R. Laird and wife Leah of Metropolis, IL; niece, Pam Kreuter and husband Hunter of Metropolis, IL; great niece, Sarah Kreuter of Jackson, TN; and several cousins.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Wilma (Walters) Laird and a nephew, Donald R. Laird II.

Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery for the services.
