Mr. Frankie "Bunk" Owens, age 76, of Anna, IL, formerly of Metropolis, passed away on Monday, February 06, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017, in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Frankie is survived by one niece, Kimberly Astin and husband Shawn of Metropolis; and two nephews, Bobby Owens and Keith Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Gertrude (Childress) Owens; and two brothers, Joe Owens and George Owens. Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
