Frances "Sally" Miller, 84 of Metropolis, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Sally was a member of First Baptist Church and a lifetime member of VFW Post 3847. She was a retired restorative aid and had worked at Southgate Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting, thrifting, and listening to Elvis and Gene Watson.

Sally is survived by three children, Danny Miller (Debbie), Shane Miller (Helen), and Misty Raney (Eric); thirteen grandchildren, Tabetha McIntosh, Danny Miller II, Jason Johnston, Shalea Miller, Donald Miller, Jonathan, Heather Fults, James Oetjen, Kourtney May, Kayla Bowman, Darren Raney, Erica Raney, and Gavin Raney; and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Helen (Gurley) Newby; husband, Donald "Don" Ray Miller; daughter, Lisa Oetjen; and one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Miller.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13th at the funeral home.
