Ms. Frances Kay (Jones) Weber age 69 of Metropolis, IL passed away at 2:23 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 at the Metropolis Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.Funeral services will be held at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home Thursday Oct. 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Johnny Sams officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 in Graceland Cemetery in Albion, IL at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kirk Rowe officiating.Frances is survived by four children, Michele Renee Thomas, Stephanie Beth Looper, Jeffrey Kent Weber and wife Stephanie (Gentry), and Samantha Whitney Weber; ten grandchildren, Robbie Thomas and wife Katherine (Ballard), Chantelle Thomas, Haley Thomas, Alicia Thomas, Madison Thomas, Brandon Looper, Ryan Looper, Callie Looper, Hannah Weber, and Ellie Weber; four great grandchildren, Jackson Thomas, Avery Thomas, Omarii Thomas and Carter Prather; four siblings, Priscilla Collins, Tom Jones, Van Jones, and Wayne Jones.She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Irma (Johnson) Jones.Frances was a member of Heartland Worship Center, where she taught children's and adult Sunday school classes and was a church custodian.Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 320 E.
