Floyd Wayne Lewis age 66 of Metropolis, Il passed away Friday March 7, 2014 at the home of his sister, with his family at his side. He is the son of Leland "Bugs" and Louise (Martin) Lewis.Funeral services will be Monday March 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Short officiating; burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Military graveside rites.Floyd is survived by Two Daughters; Tammy Oliver of Metropolis, IL and Tara Combs of Calvert City, KY.; Special friend, Rhonda Lewis of Metropolis, IL, Four grandchildren, Jessica Gibson, Jordan Oliver, Taylor Bynum, and Zac Bynum; Two great grandchildren, Jace and Noah Gibson; Two step grandchildren, Austin and Dillion Combs; Two sisters, Mary Crider of Paducah, KY, and Sandra Carnes of Metropolis, IL.Beside his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Dennis "Dino" Lewis. He was an Army veteran, and was retired from E.E.
