Mr. Everett Massie, 86, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in Pell Cemetery with Rev. Jack Russell officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Mr. Massie was of the Baptist faith.

Everett is survived by his wife, Shirley Massie; two daughters, Kathy Benard and husband Dale and Kelly Harris and husband Don; two grandchildren, Dustin Morris and wife Melanie and Casey Forthman and husband Frankie; two great grandchildren, Eva Forthman and Drew Morris; his twin sister, Evelyn House and husband Joe; brother, Ray Massie and his wife Melanie; one sister-in-law, Melba Massie; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Lela (Mosley) Massie; one brother, Robert Massie.

Memorial contributions may be given in Everett's name to Mt. Sterling Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.
