Evelyn "Bea" Williamson, age 89 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 11:25 am on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Dr. Joe Buchanan will officiate. Evelyn was of the Baptist Faith. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Mary Christine Schoon of Roberts, IL, Georgia Wilson and husband Jay of Herrin, IL, Rayma King and husband Ronnie of Calvert City, KY; sons, Charles Homer Ellis Jr. of GA, James Earl Fisher of CA, Terry Bruce Fisher and wife Sandra of IL; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nora (Buttrum) Murphy; 1st Husband, Charles Homer Ellis Sr.; 2nd Husband, George Earl Fisher; 3rd husband, Raymond Edward Williamson; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Holly Murphy and Mary Rose. There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the services. Memorials may be made to the humane society of your choice.
