Evelyn Fuqua Anderson, of Metropolis, IL, in her ninety ninth year, passed away Wednesday February 25, 2015 at Baptist Health of Paducah, KY. She was born June 15, 1916 in Grand Rivers, KY to Luther and Fronia (Walker) Fuqua. She has lived most of her life in Massac County, ILFuneral services will be at 1 pm on Saturday February 28, 2015 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Rev. Brian Anderson officiating, burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery.Evelyn is survived by 2 Daughters, Carol Wehrmeyer and husband David and Frona Shelton and husband Donald; one son Clarence Anderson and wife Sandy all of Metropolis, IL. Two sisters, Jane McGinnis of Metropolis and Ruth Troup and husband Pat of Davenport, Iowa; Sister in Law Freida Fuqua and Brother in Law, Bill Sommer; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother Lottie, Husband, John Howard Anderson, Grandson, James D.
