Ella Loretta Yager age 81 of Metropolis, IL passed away Friday April 5, 2013 at the Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, IL Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Bro. Louis W. Brinker officiating. Ms. Yager was a member of the First Baptist Church in Metropolis.Ella is survived by her brother, Ernie O'Neil; sister, Jane Norton; 4 nieces, Ella Faye Cameron, Kay Dunn, Paula White Teri Lee Barrett; 7 nephews, Lee McCandless, Rodger McCandless, James O'Neil, Ernie O'Neil, Kenneth O'Neil, Keith O'Neil, John Norton; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law Pat Yager.She is preceded in death by her parents Ernie and Mary (Lockinger) O'Neil and her husband of over 40 years Martin Yager.There will be no visitation. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
