Elizabeth "Jane" Holt, 81, of Vienna, IL, formerly of Grand Chain, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis with Russell D. Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery.

Jane was retired from National Home Care as a sitter for the elderly and a member of Cherry Street Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting and cooking, especially homemade bread.

Jane is survived by her cousin, Bill Holt and wife Nancy and their son Bill and his family; a great niece that she considered a daughter, Cindy Penn and her son she considered a grandson, Isaiah; sister, Vira Meyer of Joppa; brother, Joseph Harrell and wife Lucy of Horton, MI; dear friend, Eddie Westridge; a nephew she considered a brother, Ronald E. Harold; a niece she considered a sister, Peggy M.; niece, Julie Nyman; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey John and Hazel (Sheren) Harrell; beloved husband, Amos "Red" Holt; son, Gerald Holt; grandson, Travis Nyman; sisters, Georgia Drake, Martha Marshall, Donna Miller, Florence Harrell, Pauline Harrell, Doris Curtis, and Vera Story; brothers, Phillip Harrell, Chuck Harrell, and Bob Harrell.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 29th at the funeral home.
