Elinore T. Lewis, 93, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Lewis Cemetery in Joppa, IL. There will be no visitation. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Elinore was a member of Reorganized Latter-Day Saints.

Elinore is survived by 7 children, Dennis Lewis and wife Barbie of Joppa, Shannon Root and husband Richard of Metropolis, Cheryl Gilbert of Metropolis, Susan Anderson of Joppa, Shelley Lewis of Metropolis, Timothy Lewis of Metropolis and Tina Lawless of Burna, KY; one sister, Katherine Sohr of Glenview, IL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Trehey; husband, Robert Lewis; two sons, Patrick Lewis and Michael Lewis; 1 infant son; 1 infant daughter; 10 siblings.
