Elenor "Jane' Martin age 79 of Metropolis, IL passed away Friday Sept. 22, 2017 at the Massac Memorial Hospital. She was born December 14, 1937 to George Ike and Esther Iona (Woods) Miner. She was a very faithful member of the Cherry Street Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be at 11am Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 at the Cherry Street Pentecostal Church with Brother Russell Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Martin and wife Candice of Metropolis, and Timmy Martin of Joppa; two daughters, Paula Greer and husband Doc, of Metropolis, and Brenda Fulkerson and husband Kevin of Marysville, WA; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two nieces and one sister, Sylvia Rucks. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lorene Tolan; one brother, George Miner; one daughter, Debbie Massey; one grandson, Isaac Massey; one nephew, David Rucks; and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 from 6 until 8 pm and Wednesday Sept. 27, 2017 from 9am until the funeral hour at the Cherry Street Pentecostal Church. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Pall Bearers---Dennis Lewis, James Ryan Martin, Nathan Martin, Brian Miller, Andrew Martin, and Corey Miller.
