Mrs. Edna Bernice Wiseman, 99, of Golconda, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis with Bro. Justin Wolfe and Rev. Keith Tilford officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wiseman was the oldest member of the First Christian Church in Metropolis where she attended over 70 years. Edna is survived by her son, Billy Wiseman and wife Patty; one grandson, James Wiseman and wife Jessica; two great grandchildren, Tristen and Jenna Wiseman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Green and Grace (Martin) Benard; husband of over 63 years, Bob Wiseman; and three brothers, Pete Benard, Ralph Benard, and Curtis Benard.
