Edna Louise Baker 87 of Brookport passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lourdes Hospice Center of Paducah.
Funeral services will be 2:00P.M. Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Forthman officiating. Burial will follow at the Pell Cemetery.
Mrs. Baker was a member of Waldo Baptist Church, as well as New Frontier Homemakers. She worked as a seamstress for many years and loved quilting.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her four children Jeannie Forthman of Metropolis, David Baker of Earl ,AR, Steve Baker and wife Kathy of Brookport, and James Baker and wife Melissa of Earl , AR, nine grandchildren; Brandy Kemper, Josh Baker, Justin Baker, Daniel Baker, Laurie Taylor, Rod Forthman Jr., Holley Waldrip, Amy Thompson, and Jamie Forthman. Mrs. Baker is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren as well as one sister Eva Bailey of Jackson, MI, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Nora Bell Schelske, her husband Gene Baker, one grandchild April Crim, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 11:00A.M. until the funeral hour on Monday at the Brookport Funeral Home.
