Edith Kickasola, age 88 of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 4:20 am on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Kickasola Family Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hughes officiating.

Edith was a member of Mt. Sterling Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Agriculture Stabilization Conservation Service in Metropolis.

Edith is survived by her sister, Betty Boyd and husband Richard; sister-in-law, Lula Belle Kickasola; nieces and nephews, Jesse Kickasola and wife Kim, Becky Whitley and husband Dan, Sam Kickasola and wife Kim, Melissa Casper and husband Ron, Melinda Myers and husband Kevin, Lisa Humphrey and husband Charlie, Kevin Boyd, and Jeff Boyd; several great nieces and great nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Velva Nell (Woods) Kickasola; brothers, Joe Kickasola and Daniel Kickasola.

There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Boyd, Jeffrey Boyd, Jesse Kickasola, Sam Kickasola, Dan Whitley, and Charlie Humphrey.
