Dustin Alan Burnham, age 28, of Metropolis, left his loved ones on Tuesday Morning, December 10, 2013.A Funeral Service in his memory will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Gilbert will officiate.Dustin was a pump operator for Hunter Sand and Gravel. He had a love of 4-wheelers, big trucks, and his family. Dustin was an amazing father and wonderful husband. Dustin and Kristy were united in marriage on October 26, 2007. He was so compassionate and had the kindest, warmest heart of anyone we know. There wasn't a day that went by that he wasn't smiling or laughing. He was so proud of his life and what accomplishments he was making to better his family. We will forever love you and miss you. There will not be a day that goes by that we won't talk about you or remember the good times we had together.Dustin is survived by his wife of 6 years, Kristy (Logeman) Burnham of Metropolis; son, David Burnham and daughter, Emily Burnham both of Metropolis; 2 brothers, Brandon Burnham and wife Jessica of Vienna, IL, and Adam Burnham of Metropolis; sister, Heather Burnham of Metropolis; grandparents, David and Sharon Helm of New Columbia, IL; and 3 nephews.He was preceded in death by his cousin, Timmy McNichols.
