Duane C. Douglas, age 50 of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Dawson, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home.

Services will be held at a later date.

Duane was a retired truck driver and a member of First United Methodist Church in Metropolis.

Duane is survived by his mother, Sylvia Williams; one sister, Rebecca Gambell and husband Jay; one niece, Danielle Grapes and one nephew, William Gambell; several half siblings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Douglas and stepfather, Thomas Williams.
