Dorothy Sexton, age 81 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the IOOF Cemetery in Metropolis, Illinois with Dr. Joe Buchanan officiating.

Dorothy worked for many years for the Krypton House and was a member of Brookport Church of God.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Duncan Sexton and wife Sheila; grandchildren, Jared Sexton and wife Britney, Lasha Mounce, Hayden Sexton; great grandchildren, Kelix, Kanden, Avery, Emery, Malachi; sisters, Judy Tanner, Shirley Tanner, Lula Belle Kickasola; brothers, Bobby Wiley, JL Wiley, Otis Wiley, James Wiley; several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Landis and Freda (Stone) Wiley; husband, Deon Sexton; sons, Jeffery Harris, James Shelby; sisters, Ruth Varvel, Berniece Wiley; brothers, Pete Wiley, Scottie Wiley, Robert Wiley, Arlen Wiley.

Pallbearers will be Duncan Sexton, Jared Sexton, Hayden Sexton, Joey Mounce, Justin Holt.
