Mrs. Donna Lindsey, age 72, of Metropolis, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Massac Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the Highway 45 Church of Christ with Craig Simon officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Joppa, IL.Mrs. Lindsey was a member of the Highway 45 Church of Christ, past employee of Big Johns, a homemaker, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.Donna is survived by her husband, Donnie Lindsey of Metropolis; four children, Winona Ford and husband Kevin of Metropolis, Helen Rose and husband Kevin of Kevil, KY, Wilbur Lindsey and wife Barb of Metropolis, and Donna Rushing and husband Jerry of Metropolis; ten grandchildren, Donnie Craycraft and wife Ashley of Metropolis, Jennifer Duncan of Unionville, IL, Jessica Wright of Benton, KY, Lindsey Jackson of Paducah, KY, Kortney Rose and fiancé Jason Mike of Hawaii, Gabrielle Lindsey of Brookport, Loren Lindsey of Metropolis, Carey Lindsey of Metropolis, Kelsey Mason and husband David of Metropolis, and Tyler Williamson and wife Erica of Benton, KY; eleven great grandchildren, Bristan Kingston, Morgan Kingston, Blaike Longoria, Shandia Craycraft, Anthony Jackson, Kaine Rose, Kason Mike, Braylin Moore, Rush Williamson, Mitchell Wright, and Johnathon Wright; two brothers, Richard Spencer and Wilbur Spencer; one sister, Nora Crudden; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Helen (Madison) Spencer.Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2015, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home and on Saturday, July 4, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m. at the Highway 45 Church of Christ.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
