Donna “Jeannie” Bentler, age 65 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away 7:19 a.m. on Tuesday July 28, 2026 at the Oliver Woods Assisted Living in Owosso, Michigan.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday August 3, 2026 at Otterbein Cemetery with Pastor Mark Staton officiating.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ned Bentler; daughter, Bridgett Bentler; brother, Chris Hannah; mother-in-law, Joann Bentler; 3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Hannah.

God saw her getting tired, a cure not meant to be, so He put his arms around her, and whispered... "Come with Me"
