Diane Marie Davis, 58 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow.

Diane was born on August 7, 1964. She attended Joppa High School and was of Christian faith. Diane worked at many various restaurants in Metropolis throughout the years including: Smallman's, Farley's Cafeteria, Cubby Bears and Dairy Queen. She also previously worked at Vinyl Windows in Paducah. The most important thing to Diane was her family. She was a devoted mother, sister and aunt among other titles. She loved her boys, her grandbabies, "beautiful nieces", and her dogs, Henry and George. She had a huge heart and will be deeply missed.

Diane is survived by two sons, Joshua Davis and Melvin Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Cameron, Libby, Hayden, Gage, Emma and Lilly; sisters, Rose Ann Powell (Darrell), Julie Norwood Scobie, Teresa Edwards (Mark), and Lisa Phillips (Danny); brother, Benjamin Norwood (Teresa); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lindell and Shirley (Graves) Norwood; lifetime partner, Louis Pearcy; and brother, Lindell Norwood Jr.
