Mrs. Deloris Stratmeyer, age 96, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 9:10 pm on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Zion United Church of Christ with Pastor David Krueger officiating. Burial will follow in Zion E & R Cemetery.

Deloris was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and a loving and dedicated homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and farmwife that helped her husband run the family business.

Deloris is survived by her daughter, Debra Travis and husband Bobby of Belknap; son, Curtis Stratmeyer and wife Carmen of Metropolis; seven grandchildren, Dee Dee Wrye and husband James, Billy Travis and wife Julie, Dustin Stratmeyer and wife Brett, Katelin Stratmeyer, Matt Stratmeyer and wife Brandi, Marc Stratmeyer and wife Heather, and Lora Jacobs and husband Jason; 13 great grandchildren, Hannah, Josh, and Sarah Wrye, Blake and Ben Travis, Emery Stratmeyer, Mason and Mackenzie Stratmeyer, Trentyn, Emalyn, and Maci Stratmeyer, Jaxon and Marshal Jacobs; one daughter-in-law, Donna Stratmeyer; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Minnie (Teckenbrock) Buldtman; husband, Paul Stratmeyer; son, Dennis Stratmeyer; two brothers, Lavern and Irvin Buldtman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 10 am to 12 noon at Zion United Church of Christ.
