Delcie Robbins, age 86 of Metropolis, Illinois formerly of Acton, TN passed away at 9:27 pm on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Massac Memorial Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Turner will officiate.Delcie was a member of the Upper Salem Baptist Church.Delcie is survived by 1 daughter, Sue Ramsey and partner Norman of Metropolis, IL; 4 sons, Billy Robbins and wife Alberta of Metropolis, IL, Lawrence Robbins of Front Royal, VA, Wayne Robbins and wife Beverly of Metropolis, IL, and Joe Robbins of Marion, IL; 9 grandchildren, 3 step granddaughters, 1 step grandson, 10 great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eloise Willard of Jackson, TN and Martha Adams of Corinth, MS; 3 brothers, James Roach of Acton, TN, JR Roach of Bethel Springs, TN, and Jessie Roach of Selmer, TN; several nieces and nephews.Delcie was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Elvie Roach; husband, James Robbins; grandson, Rikki Wayne Robbins; 2 sisters, Catherine Stricklin and Faye Dixon; 1 brother, LB Roach.There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the services.Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter, 320 E.
