Deborah Johnson, 66 of Metropolis, IL died at 6:55 am on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side.

A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Living Waters Full Gospel Church in Joppa, IL, with Rev. Shane Baker officiating.

Deborah was a member of Living Waters Full Gospel Church and loved riding her Harley Davidson.

Deborah is survived by her daughters, Heather Long (Phil) and Jamie Vernon (Marcus); three grandchildren, Andrea Long, Jayden Johnson and Alex Vernon; two great grandchildren, Paislee and Amelia Grace; two brothers, Leonard Baker and Shane Baker (Mary); several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard C. and Irma Jean Baker; 1st husband, Steve Johnson; 2nd husband, James Strickland; sisters, Kathy Swenney and Stella Miechur; brothers, Phillip Baker and Thomas Baker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11 am until 12 noon at Living Waters Full Gospel Church in Joppa.

Memorials may be given in Deborah's name to Living Waters Full Gospel Church, 451 East 2nd Street, Grand Chain, IL 62941.
