David E. Lang, age 55 of Metropolis, IL passed away at 8:48 pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah.Memorial services will be held at a later date.David is survived by 2 daughters, Penny Brashears of Creal Springs, IL and Brittany Baker and husband Dusty of Unionville, IL; 1 son, David Lang Jr. and wife Amanda of Metropolis, IL; 8 grandchildren, Madison Smock, Connor Smock, Chaylor Lang, Jaylynn Lang, Jeremiah Brashears, Cameron Funk, Hanna Baker, and Breanna Baker; 1 brother, Donald Lang and wife Sharon of Metropolis, IL; several nieces and nephews.David was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary Elizabeth (Hall) Lang; son-in-law, Daniel Joseph "Joey" Brashears; 2 sisters, Helen Emma Jean Lang and Vickie Mae Ann Lang; ½ brother, James R.
