Mr. Darold Edwards, age 65, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his home.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Brookport Church of God on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 with Rev. Charles Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Sterling Cemetery.Darold attended the Brookport Church of God, was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a past president.Darold is survived by two daughters, Cassie Scott and husband Michael of Paducah, KY and Teresa Iles and husband Steven of DeRidder, LA; one son, Jeremy Scheer of Paducah, KY; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two sisters, Wanda Lane of Brookport, IL, Betty Jean Inglish and husband David of Possum Trott, KY; five brothers, Ruble Ray Edwards and wife Mary of Las Vegas, NV, Randall Edwards of Ledbetter, KY, Larry Edwards and wife Ricki of Symsonia, KY, Vernon Owen Edwards and wife Martha of Ledbetter, KY, and Tom Edwards and wife Debbie of Ledbetter, KY; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Betty Clapp Edwards; four brothers, Billy Edwards, David Edwards, twin brother Harold "Butchie" Edwards, and Jimmy Edwards; two sisters, Geraldine Edwards and Shirley Duncan; one granddaughter, Chrisdee Gough.Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Brookport Church of God.Memorial contributions may be given to the Paducah Area 3135 Fraternal order of Eagles 2614 Bridge Street Paducah, KY 42003 or to the Brookport Church of God 4th and George Street Brookport, IL 62910.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
