Curtis Lee Beggs, age 59 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on August 28, 2020 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Hilltop Shelter at Fort Massac State Park. Pastor Jeremy Beggs will officiate.

Curtis is survived by his son, Clint Beggs; daughter, Georgia Roper; grandchildren, Andrew and Emma; three brothers, Chris Beggs, Mike Beggs (Tammy), and Dwight Beggs (Rachel) all of Metropolis; two sisters, Connie Greer of Karnak and Diane Ireland (Frank) of Brownfield, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Lois (Kersey) Beggs; and brother, Jeff Beggs.
