Clyde Livingston, age 85 of Joppa, Illinois went to be with his Lord at 6:58 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Metropolis with Dr. Joe Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillerman Baptist Church cemetery.

Clyde worked for many years with Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief, and was an active member of First Baptist Church in Metropolis. He pastored churches in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, and Florida.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy Livingston of Joppa, IL; children, Deborah Smith and husband David of Paducah, KY, Randy Livingston of Paducah, KY, Andy Livingston of Cape Girardeau, MO, Kim Bailey and husband Philip of La Center, KY, Scott Harner and wife Janet of Anna, IL, Kent Harner and wife Tina of Joppa, IL; 15 grandchildren; 8 great  grandchildren; sister, Mildred Louise Borders of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Maggie Livingston; brothers, James Livingston, Charles Livingston, John Livingston, Herman Livingston; sisters, Cora Baldwin, Kathleen McClurken, Nina Matt, Minnie Albright, Edith Ragsdale.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10 am until 1 pm at First Baptist Church in Metropolis.

Memorials may be made in Clyde's name to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 307 Massac Creek Road, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
