Clifford "Cliff" Morehead, 69 of Karnak, IL, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Anderson cemetery with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating.

Cliff was a United States Navy veteran who served his country in the Vietnam War. Later, he served in the Army National Guard. Cliff worked as a Lieutenant for Iowa Department of Corrections and was a retired minister. He enjoyed fishing and most of all spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids.

Cliff is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cristine "Crissy" Morehead; four children, Stephanie Conley (Kyle), Casey Morehead (Kari), Nathan Morehead (Angela) and Nicole Morehead; 15 grandchildren, Landon, Bentley, Madison, Emma, Taylor, Brooklyn, Nolan, Mackenzie, Colt, Christina, Braelynn, Lucas, Mia, Hayden and Rowan; three brothers, Bruce Morehead (Tina), Larry Morehead (Roberta) and Bobby Morehead; several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Barbara (Smith) Morehead; in-laws, James and Helen Van Elsen; one sister, Kathy Myrick.
