Mr. Charles Jones, age 51, formerly of Metropolis, IL, died peacefully at home on August 4, 2018 in Franklin, TN.

A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Pastor David Krueger officiating.

Charles was born on August 30, 1966 in Manila, Philippines to Remy and Chuck Jones. After moving to Nashville, TN, Charles began working as a computer programmer for various companies. He taught his children to never give up on their dreams. His children remember him as a driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Charles was an accomplished musician and was often found in the studio helping people pursue their own musical dreams. He was a witty individual who loved to make people laugh and who was passionate about his family. He was a dedicated Christian who loved the Lord.

Charles is survived by his parents, Remy Jones and Chuck Jones; children, Hannah Jones, Joshua Jones, and Sarah Kernebeck (Matt); brothers, Allen Jones (Tracy) and KC Jones (Sara); two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
