Mr. Charles Joe Henderson, age 56, of Brookport, IL, passed away on April 22, 2015 at his residence.Visitation will be held at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th. There will be no funeral services.Mr. Henderson attended Mt. Sterling Presbyterian Church and attended the SIU School of Engineers where he was on the wrestling team. Charles was also a member of Union Millwright 716 of St. Louis, MO.Charles is survived by his father, Orval Henderson of Grantsburg, IL; wife of 10 years, Donna Henderson of Brookport; daughter, Eve Kotter and husband Stephen of Benton, KY; son, Barry Henderson of Brookport; 2 grandchildren, Emma Lee Kotter and Preston Kotter of Benton, KY; 3 brothers, Dan Henderson and wife Jalayne of Kuttawa, KY, James Henderson and wife Megan of Belkap, IL and John Henderson and wife Teresa of Grantsburg, IL; step brothers and sisters, Kenny Henderson and wife Ann, Mark Henderson and Dianne Henderson all of Elkhart, IN.He was preceded in death by his mother Jeraldine (Bell) Henderson.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
