Charles "Biggun" Arrison, 79 of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 5:26 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side.

Per his wishes, there will not be any services.

Charles was a retired electrician working out of IBEW Local 702, was a member of First Christian Church in Metropolis, and served his country in the United States Army.

Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy Arrison of Metropolis; one son, Johnathan Arrison and wife Angela of Massac County; five grandchildren, Charles Arrison (Lindsey) of Lake Village, IN, Erica Little (Roger) of Metropolis, Judy Arrison of Metropolis, Austin Arrison (Katelynn) Vienna, IL, and Emma Arrison of Massac County, IL; 10 great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Tommy Arrison and wife Glenda of Massac County; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Lacy Arrison; parents, Reid and Elizabeth (Walters) Arrison; and an infant sister, Kathryn Arrison.
