Mr. Charles E. Anderson, age 71, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Giltner officiating. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.Charles is survived by four sons, Mike Anderson and wife Paula of Brookport, Ben Anderson of Metropolis, David Anderson of Brookport, and Jeff Anderson of Brookport; one daughter, Tammi Fiorentini of Paducah; mother, Daisy Spencer of Brookport; 15 grandchildren, Charles Michael, Claudia Nicole, Faith Michelle, Zakry Aaron, Ian Carlos, Ben Edward III, Brooke Danielle, Samantha Marie, Crystal Lynn, Charlene Elizabeth, Cayden "Jeep" Wayne, Cody Blake, Caleigh Olivia, Lydia Grace, Aiden Bryant; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Brown of Metropolis and Ted Brown of Murray, KY; three sisters, Barbara Varner and husband Ken of McKenzie, TN, Vivian Wheeler and husband Robert of Metropolis and Cindy Smith and husband Donald of Brookport; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Edward Anderson; wife, Barbara C.
