Mrs. Catherine Walden, age 103 of Metropolis, IL passed away at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at her residence.Burial will be held at a later date in Haskell, Oklahoma.Catherine was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.Catherine is survived by 3 daughters, Dianna Jaramillo and husband Frank of Belknap, IL, Betty Taylor of Denver, CO, and Virgilea Sworts and husband Dale of Dixon, TN; 1 son, Harry Walden of Metropolis, IL; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, William Charles and Carrie (Johnson) Vincent; husband, Virgil Harry Walden; 2 daughters, Mary Margaret Pruitt and Carrie Anne Tansel; 1 grandson, John Patrick Schmidt; 1 sister, Lillian Webb; 4 brothers, Bob Vincent, Carl Vincent, George Vincent, and Andy Vincent..There will not be any visitation or local services. Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
