Ms. Carolyn Lee Randolph, age 80, of Metropolis, IL, passed away November 23, 2014 at Massac Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Bealmear and Rev. Jon Cockrel officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Carolyn was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a church council member, the Vice President and Building Supervisor of the Massac County Youth Fair and a member American Heritage Homemakers. Ms. Randolph was also the Massac County Extension Center Unit Representative to the Home Extension Council as well as the Council's representative to the Facilitis Board.Carolyn is survived by 2 sons, Tony Randolph and wife Kim and Nick Randolph and wife Cathy both of Metropolis; 3 grandchildren, Jason Randolph of Metropolis, Katie Randolph of Metropolis, and Kelley Taylor and husband Lance of Gulf Port, MS; 2 sisters, Shirley Caldwell and husband Dale of Brookport and Sandra Smith of Metropolis; 1 brother, Jerry Gard and wife Nessie of Mayfield, KY; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Helen Gard.Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral HomeMemorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Massac County Youth Fair c/o Miller Funeral Home 414 Metropolis Street Metropolis, IL 62960 or Project Hope P.O.
