Mrs. Carolyn Fulgham, age 60, of Metropolis IL, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Joe Buchanan officiating. Mrs. Fulgham was a member of the First Baptist Church of Metropolis. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 30 years, Herman Fulgham; son Jonathan Fulgham; Mother-In-Law Blanche Fulgham; two sisters; Brother-In-Law Warren Austin; Sisters-In-Law Faye Cameron (Gary), Jan Sumner (Larry); several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews; and her loving church family and Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her father Jesse Nelson; mother Norma (Franklin) Nelson Turner; Step-Father Vernice Turner; Father-In-Law Herman Fulgham Sr.; Mother-In-Law Lorene Miller; Brothers-In-Law Dick Millbocker and R.D. Powell; niece Marcia Austin; several Aunts and Uncles. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association Great Illinois Chapter 320 E. Walnut, Ste. A Carbondale, IL 62901.
