Carol Willhelm, 67 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at her home.

There will be no services at this time.

Carol loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Tonya Mayes; grandchildren, Dustin Duncan, Tiffany Lester, Chyanne Lester, Autumn Yarbrough, Alana Gonzales, Nomi Gonzales, Audrey Gonzales, Dakota Gonzales, and Caden Gonzales; great grandchildren, Isabell Thompson, Emma Thompson, Roy Yarbrough, Ava Yarbrough, and Zeke Moreton; siblings, Kathy Cain, Pam Downen, and Kelly Bone (Mark); many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Harr Sr. and Mary (Smith) Compton; husband, Gerald Willhelm; and son, Michael Willhelm.
