Carol Ann Hendrix, 80 of Brookport, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose greatest priority was the care and well being of her husband and family. She was known for her quiet strength, simple kindness and deep loved for those closest to her. Carol was retired from Accounts Payable at Massac Memorial Hospital and of Christian faith.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.

Carol is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael Hendrix; daughters, Phaedra Strong (John) and Nora Saxton (Jerome); granddaughters, Allyson Jefferson (Ryan) and Makiah Cox; great grandchildren, Rylie Jefferson and Phoenixx Jefferson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Coyle.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes simple acts of support as we care for our dad. 

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the selfless, loving person she was.
