Carla Fisher, age 60 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at her home.

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Carla graduated from WKCTC as an RN and was a private Nurse’s Aide until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family and is going to be missed.

Carla is survived by her daughter, Kristen Drew (Kelly); son, Lucas Gurley (Kaylee); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Milton Fisher Jr. and Anthony Fisher; half-sister, Gerri Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Carl and Phyllis (Jennings) Fisher.
