Mr. Bruce Wayne Neill Sr., age 64, of Metropolis, went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home. Bruce was born August 15, 1951 to Lavell "Dub" and Ruth (Herreld) Neill.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Buford McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in Hillerman Cemetery with military rites.Bruce is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Jaco and companion James Wynn; one son, Bruce W. Neill Jr. of Cape Girardeau, MO; three grandchildren, Seth Harrington and wife Annette of Cape Girardeau, MO, Victoria Harrington of Metropolis and Bruce Neill III of Metropolis; two great grandchildren, Ireland Harrington and Xavier Baker with one on the way; two sisters, Pamela Neely of Paducah, KY and Yolanda Sue Blanton of Metropolis; one brother, Alfred Neill and wife Sharon of Metropolis; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces with one on the way; and one great-great nephew.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth Neill and Ricky Neill; and two brothers in law, Lynn Neely and Charles Blanton.Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
