Mr. Brian James Dooley, age 34, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 12:34 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Baptist Health Paducah.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis, IL, on Saturday, January 18, 2014. Burial will follow in the Chapman Cemetery in Tunnel Hill, IL.Although he was born in Mountain View, CA, Brian grew up in the Brookport/Metropolis area. He graduated from Massac County High School in 1998 with excellent academics. Brian currently lived and worked in Paducah as a IT Specialist at Petter Supply Co. and was an avid gamer. Brian is survived by his fiancé, Jeanetta Robles of Paducah, KY; mother Carol Dunne and step-father Richard of Madisonville, TN; father, Patrick Dooley of Westland, MI; two grandmothers, Gloria Klawon and husband Bill of Fredricksburg, TX and Lorene Kelley of Madisonville, TN; grandfather, Denis Mitchell and wife Roberta of Mountain View, CA; two cousins, GarLynn Diedrich of Fort Irwin, CA and Kristie Field of Waterford, MI; three uncles, Matthew Kelley of Brookport, Robert Mitchell and wife Dixie of Matoon, IL, and Stanley Mitchell and wife Darah of Madisonville, TN; several other family members and friends.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas James Dooley Jr. and step-grandfather, Lowell Kelley.Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014. at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11 a.m.Online Condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
