Mr. Brian Collie, age 54, of Brookport, IL, died on August 8, 2018 in Sevierville, TN.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, August 15, 2018 from 6 until 8 pm at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.

Mr. Collie worked in the IL prison system for 23 years as a corrections officer and was a member of the AFSCME Local 3605. Brian loved spending time with his girls and grandchildren. He had a passion for fishing and cooking for his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, mowing his lawn and always tried to lend a helping hand to anyone he could.

Brian is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jerry Collie; three children, Laken K. Collie and fiancé Joe LeForce, Dallas B. Collie, and Charla R. West and husband Josh; two grandchildren, Juniper LeForce and Cole West; six siblings, Debra Bunch and husband David, Zane Kline and wife Lori, Jack Kline and wife Carissa, Mary Collie, Alissa Stewart and husband Jeb, and Linda Sala and husband Gerald; aunts and uncles, Linda and Lindell Russell and Bob and Sharon Mumford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary Collie and Deanna (Mumford) Kline; special grandparents, Robert and Verba Mumford.
