Mr. Brett Decker, age 21, of Paducah, KY, passed away Monday morning, June 09, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital surrounded by family and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Paducah, KY, with Rev. Bill Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in Azotus Cemetery in Pope County, IL.Brett was born on November 19, 1992 in Jacksonville, FL to Anthony "Tony" and Elizabaeth "Denna" (Walter) Decker. He was a 2011 graduate of Pope County High School in Golconda, IL, and had been employed at Federal Materials in Paducah. Brett and his fiancé Emily had October wedding plans. Brett loved spending time with friends and family, especially his little sister Amber, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Brett attended Park Avenue Baptist Church where he shared his loved for God. Brett will be greatly missed by family and loved ones.Brett is survived by his parents, Tony and Denna Decker of Hamletsburg, IL; fiancé, Emily Hubbs of Paducah, KY; sister, Amber Elizabeth Decker of Hamletsburg, IL; grandmother, Juanita Decker of Melber, KY; aunts, Beverly Robbins and husband Wayne of Metropolis and Cindy Curtis of Paducah, KY; uncle, Darrell Walter of Tunnell Hill, IL; and many other cousin, relatives, friends and loved ones.He was preceded in death by grandparents, Eugene and Wanda "MaMa" Walter and Ray Decker.Visitation will be held at the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Paducah on Thursday, June 12 from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Online Condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
