Brenda J. (Mathis) Dusch, age 78 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 11:18 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Brenda worked for many years at Charlie's Party Hut and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Brenda is survived by her son, David Collins; grandchildren, Melissa Brenningmeyer, Amanda Noble, Brittany Hall, Ashley Brown, Jessica Wilmouth, Charity Garza, Kim O'Neil, and David Collins; 16 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Kozuszek; sister-in-law, Rita Mathis; several nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Lucille (Johnson) Mathis; husband, Delbert Dusch; daughter, Lori Ann Bradford-Cole; sister, Patricia "Pat" Owens; brothers, Louis Mathis and James Mathis; sister-in-law, Sarah Carnes.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 12th, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral at 1:00 p.m.

Memorials may be given in Brenda's name to Families on the Spectrum c/o CFSB, 3390 Park Ave, Paducah, KY 42001.

Pallbearers will be David Collins, David Collins, Brendan Kozuszek, Serenity Johnston, Dathan English, and Bruce Dunlap.
