Mr. Bobbie Reynolds, age 79, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Zion United Church of Christ in Metropolis with Rev. David Deem officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion UCC Cemetery. Mr. Reynolds was retired after 35 years as an operator from the Massac County Highway Department and was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ. Bobbie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bernice (Foss) Reynolds of Metropolis; two children, Lisa Walquist and companion Barry Dockery of Metropolis and Michael Reynolds and companion Tracie Troutman of Metropolis; three grandchildren, Nicholas Walquist and companion Kristen Walter of Grand Chain, IL, Hanna Jones and husband Bobby of Metropolis, and Keeton Reynolds of Metropolis; two brothers, Vernon Reynolds of Paducah, and Charles Reynolds and wife Norma of Metropolis; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Foss and Nonaley Reynolds; one brother-in-law, Ernest Foss and wife Mary Ann; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arel and Zula Mae (Medley) Reynolds; an infant daughter, Denise Reynolds; one brother, Raymond Reynolds;mother and father-in-law, Julius and Bertha Foss; one brother-in-law, Harry Foss; and one sister-in-law, Donnie Reynolds. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the funeral hour at 2 pm at the Zion United Church of Christ on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
