Blanche (Lott) Fulgham, age 102 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 8:30 am on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Blanche was born on January 19, 1922 in Massac County the daughter of John and Mary (Mitchell) Lott.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Blanche worked at the Good Luck Glove Factory for over 30 years until they closed then she worked at Laidlaw Corporation for 11 years until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Metropolis.

Blanche is survived by her step children, Ella Faye Cameron and husband Gary, Janice Rottmann, and Herman Fulgham; grandchildren, Kevin Metcalf, Michele Childress (Lorne), Keith Burnham (Chris), Julie Travis (Billy), Heather Cremeens, Jonathan Fulgham, Stacey Bowles (Lester), Brandi Stratmeyer (Matt); several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; 3 nieces, Sue Gillespie, Marilyn Holley (Dan), and Sharon Brenningmeyer (Steve).

Blanche was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lott; husband, John Herman Fulgham; daughter, Carole Metcalf (Bill); grandson, Steven Metcalf; sister, Sophia Medley; brothers, George Lott, Henry Lott, Lester Lott, Joe Lott, Dan Lott, and Walter Lott; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Fulgham; son-in-law, Larry Rottmann

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made in Blanche's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Pallbearers will be Ben Travis, Mason Stratmeyer, Blake Travis, Evan Cremeens, Brock Burnham, and Jake Brenningmeyer.
